Boys will be Boys
Today we had lunch with the Petkus kids. We've spent a lot of time at the Petkus house over the past 15 months (and earlier, as Charlie was in my tummy while I nannied for this amazing family) but since she's been mobile it's a lot more fun for her. She loves all the attention, and was soaking it up this morning! She's especially fond of Lou. Here she is, getting some pointers from Joe (on the left) and Jack (on the right)....
....and feeding her obsession of dollhouses with Sammy and Lou....
Charlie: An Update
I admit, I have been waiting a year for Charlie to wear this sweet hand-me-down from her cousin Dali. It's Mulberry St. and I love it so much.
Charlie is getting braver and braver as each day passes. Lately when she gets really excited she'll sit on her knees and bounce up and down....and even propel herself into a standing position. She is into EVERYTHING and is so curious and purposeful. She loves interacting with other kids, especially little boys (uh oh) and squeals with laughter at the sight of any cat (sissss-ee!) or dog (DO-geeee!)...our little girlie is fast becoming a person in her own right.
On Friday we journey to Mimi and Poppy's house, in good ole Tyler, Texas. Dali and Owen will be there, as well as most of the Archilla family, so it promises to be a very rowdy time. Word has it that the Archilla/Bischoff grandchildren are going for a ride on the Polar Express. I'm quite sure that Poppy has a few things up his sleeve....
