Emi Sue is 2!!

Charlie's very good friend Emilyn had her 2nd birthday party this morning!! It was just south of the Lincoln Park Petting Zoo, and little Miss Emi Sue was dressed to the nines in pink cowboy boots and a mini cowboy hat. It made this Texas gal proud to have a little Southern flair to start her day!

Daddy took Charlie to see the cows next door and we all enjoyed hot dogs and cactus-shaped sugar cookies. Happy Birthday, Emi Sue, we love you!!

Date Night...for Charlie

My DEAR friend Ms. Jen kept Charlie for a couple hours yesterday so I could hook 'em out of town for The Indigo Girls concert. Vann had class and picked her up around dinnertime. I hear that the night was capped off with a tribute to the late great Michael Jackson...a dance party to remember.
